Solar and Thermal Cooling with AdsorptionSorTech AG develops, manufactures and distributes adsorption chillers for cooling and air-conditioning applications in the small and medium scale performance range up to 75 kW cooling capacity. Our technology uses heat as primary energy for cold production instead of electricity. Different kinds of driving heat, such as solar (so called solar air-conditioning or solar cooling), district or any form of waste heat (micro- or cogeneration) are equally suitable for driving the process.
Air-conditioning of Small and Medium-sized Buildings with Low Energy ConsumptionOur adsorption chillers – available with a nominal cooling capacity of 8 kW (ACS 08) and 15 kW (ACS 15) – are best suited for air-conditioning and cooling of one- or multi-family houses as well as smaller commercial and office buildings. Our compact machines use water as refrigerant, are almost noiseless and service reduced and represent an environmentally-friendly as well as economically alternative to conventional chillers. When operated correctly savings on energy and CO2 of up to 90% are possible
